Biografi Biodata Lee Dong Hae dan Profil Awal karir Donghae lahir di Mokpo, Jeollanam pada tanggal 15 Oktober 1986. Donghae awalnya ingin menjadi seorang atlet, tetapi di bawah pengaruh ayahnya, yang pernah diinginkan untuk menjadi seorang penyanyi, Donghae memutuskan untuk melatih dirinya untuk menjadi seorang penyanyi.

2005-2006: Debut dengan Super Junior

Donghae resmi debut sebagai bagian dari 12 anggota proyek grup Super Junior 05 pada tanggal 6 November 2005 tentang Lagu program musik SBS, melakukan single pertama mereka, "TWINS (Knock Out)".  debut mereka album SuperJunior05 (Kembar ) dirilis sebulan kemudian pada tanggal 5 Desember 2005 dan debut di # 3 pada K-pop grafik bulanan album MIAK.

Pada bulan Maret 2006, SM Entertainment mulai merekrut anggota baru untuk Super Junior generasi berikutnya. Namun, rencana berubah dan perusahaan menyatakan berhenti dalam membentuk generasi masa depan Super Junior. Setelah penambahan ketiga belas anggota Kyuhyun, kelompok menjatuhkan akhiran "05" dan menjadi resmi dikreditkan sebagai Super JuniorCD single pertama Kelompok ulang dipoles yang "U" dirilis pada tanggal 7 Juni 2006., Yang paling sukses mereka tunggal sampai rilis "Maaf, Maaf" pada Maret 2009.
